The Term Deposit Account by Clydesdale Bank let you select the savings term you prefer among a series of options ranging from 1 to 5 years.

3 month and 6 month terms are also available.

You can invest a sum between £2,000 and £5,000,000.

Interest is capitalised and paid annually or on term maturity.

However, you can decide for monthly interest payment, if you wish to.

Clydesdale Bank (cbonline.co.uk) is currently offering a Term Deposit Account giving an interest rate of up to 5.00% Gross/AER for 60 months (5 years) Term Deposit.

Terms are between 1 to 5 years.

Minimum deposit is £2,000.

Terms and rates (Gross/AER p.a.):

  • 1 Year 3.50%
  • 18 Months 3.50%
  • 2 Years 3.75%
  • 3 Years 4.50%
  • 5 Years 5.00%

Interest capitalised at maturity. There is also a monthly interest Term Deposit option.

One early withdrawl allowed, subject to penalty.
