Big high street names were amongst the most popular deals enjoyed by users of Egg Visa credit Card last month.

The most transactions were with the following retailers:

  • Play.com
  • It’s your view (survey completion site)
  • HMV
  • Lastminute.com
  • Argos

Customers earned the most in cash-back from:

  • Sky
  • Hotels.com
  • Expedia
  • Kwik-Fit Car Insurance
  • Scottish Power

Egg Visa’s Cash Back Store, powered by Quidco (quidco.com), was launched at the end of May and is only available to Egg Card customers. Since launch, customers have earned £11,946 in cash back. Card holders can browse over 1,500 different retailer offers using a variety of search tools. Once they see an offer that fits with their purchase needs they simply select the retailer, review the offer details and click the link to the retailer’s website. Once in the retailer’s site the customer browses as they would do normally, and if they subsequently make a purchase, cash back is accrued at the rate detailed in the offer. Customers can check the progress of their cash back earnings via the Egg Cash Back Store site. Each month, cash back that has been paid by the retailer is credited to a bank account of the customer’s choice.

Egg Card customers also get access to exclusive offers providing even bigger discounts and benefits. Exclusive offers for Egg cash-back customers are based on bonus benefit above the base Quidco offer. The base offers can and will fluctuate throughout the course of a month but the bonus amount is guaranteed.

Egg is a UK online bank providing banking, credit cards and insurance through its internet site and other distribution channels.
